1) We'll be having a special guest singer/songwriter/speaker Larissa Lam (www.larissalam.com) coming to minister to us through testimony and songs on Friday, July 20th. Feel free to invite friends.

2) Baptism is August 5th! If you want to get baptized, please fill out the app and send/hand it in before July 20th. Baptism class will be on Friday, July 27th at 7:30pm.

3) Youth Summer Retreat (8/10-8/13) forms are due July 22nd. Please get them into Chris Lee.

Congratulations to all the graduates this year!

Here are a few announcements:

1. URBAN PLUNGE applications are due this weekend! Please get them in!

2. SUMMER RETREAT Registration is starting! Download the registration packet online: http://www.ccic-sj.org/youth/downloads/RetreatReg07.pdf

Registration is due on July 22nd.

3. 7th Grade Welcome is next Friday (6/15). Come and help the incoming 7th graders feel welcomed!

1. Baptism Easter Sunday (next Sunday) 7pm! Come celebrate with Matthew Tsai, William Qiu, Shaun Tu, Jasper Chan, Stephanie Chow, Michelle Tsui, Christine Tedijanto, Annie Lam, and Winny Huang as they declare their commitment to Christ through baptism!

2. Next Friday, we'll be having a Good Friday event with the English congregation. Meet at same place, Sanc B, same time 7:45pm. We'll be doing an activity called "Journey to the Cross"...meditating on the events of Jesus' final days. If you would like to help out with this, please let Thomas know.

3. Next Sunday, Easter Sunday, we'll be having a special Easter youth service. Feel free to invite your non-christian friends as they may be more open to coming on Easter.

4. "Uni-Fi" Praise Night on Saturday, April 21st, 6:30-9:30pm at Lord's Grace Christian Church. Come praise God together as one unified body of christ with other churches. Other churches joining - Silicon Valley Alliance, West Valley Alliance, River of Life, CCIC-NV, CCIC-CU, CCIC-MV, Lord's Grace, Mountain View Chinese Christian Church, Canaan Mountain View, Canaan San Jose, 4th Home of Christ, Chinese for Christ Church San Jose, ...

ECUADOR MISSIONS TRIP!

For those 11th/12th graders who are interested in going to this year's Ecuador Mission Trip, there will be an INFORMATIONAL MEETING on Sunday February 11th, 1:00 in room 301. So if you want to know what we will be doing, what the country is like etc, this is the place to go! Your parents are definitely welcome to come as well. Applications due on the 16th of February!! Don't wait til the last minute. Spaces are limited and this may be the experience of a lifetime.

1. Continue praying and thinking about friends you can invite to both the Christmas Service and Celebration.

2. We will be setting up the decorations on Saturday 3:00-5:00. Please, come and help decorate our dining room and make it inviting and Christmasy. If you have Christmas decorations that you are not using (lights, ornament balls, garland, etc) if you can bring them on Saturday, that would be wonderful!!

3. We are still in need of people to bring food. Philana Li is in charge of organizing this so if you can bring something, please contact her. Her e-mail is wtlfilangie@hotmail.com

4. We will be praying for Sunday's programs at 8:45 in the Youth Room. This is as important (if not more) as the program itself. So, please I encourage you to come pray for the morning's programs/speakers/audience.

1. This friday we're going caroling so please dress warmly & bring an umbrella if it's raining. Oh, and you might want to bring flashlights too. Please come on time (7:45).

2. Give some Christmas Cheer for those who are in need and there are plenty who are in need. So instead of writing a list of what gifts you'll be giving away, write up a list of toys you can give to kids who don't have much and then drop them in the barrels at the entry foyer.

3. I know a lot of people are going to be away between Christmas and New Years but for those who are still in town and have no special plans for Friday, December 29th, come to church to design and make the ultimate "gingerbread" house. Bring a couple bags of candies to share. YOU MUST LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING SO I CAN BEST PLAN FOR THE NIGHT. No exceptions. We'll make gingerbread houses and play sardines (we'll be the only one's at church). LET ME KNOW. If I don't hear from many of you, I'm scrapping the night's activities. LET ME KNOW......YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO? YEP...LET ME KNOW!

4. I pray that you've invited some friends or a plan to invite friends to our Christmas Celebration. It'll be a great chance for them to hear the real reason to celebrate Christmas.

You don't have to use them but invites are on their way! Sorry they'll be kind of late.

5. Still need help with the Christmas Celebration. Still looking for people to bring snacks and help with the program or decorations. Let Thomas or Julie know if you can help!

1. Fun Fest on October 31st, 6pm-8pm.
Game designers, booth operators, food and prize people, and decorators are needed for this year's Funfest. Please contact Thomas if you can help out.

2. Winter Retreat registration is going on now. Have your parents register you! If your family is not going but you want to go, you either have to have a family or adult sponsor. And register!

3. Talent Offering Night is on November 17th! We need acts for the night to work. You can sign-up either as a single, small or large group. Sign up by contacting Thomas.
